immersionBOX is a collaborative project between Sononaut founder Christian Curtis and creative studio Seeper. It’s a powerful portable device that transforms any room into an interactive, immersive space.
It is designed to address some of the learning challenges associated with autistic spectrum conditions – personalised for needs of users. Individuals or small groups can explore and improve social engagement, communication, collaboration, and coping with change through a calming immersive environment.
It was years in the making starting with workshops in special needs schools where we set up interactive audio visual installations to test the effectiveness of our approach and gain input from parents, teachers and professionals and academics in the field before eventually winning funding through an innovation in educational technology contest to build this all in one solution.
